We are a Berlin-based open group of Alcoholics Anonymous for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Non-Binary, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, and Intersex people (LGBTQI+) in recovery.

Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of people who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, inclusive, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.

Perhaps you are still not sure that you are an alcoholic, or if you really want help with your drinking?

Remember that there are no dues or fees for A.A., and we don’t keep any records of who comes or who leaves. You are welcome to come along to a meeting and see what is being said, and we won’t bother you if you decide that you don’t want what we have to offer; so you have nothing to lose and possibly everything to gain.

*If drinking is a problem, this phone number can help you get in contact with someone from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). The service is provided by LGBTQI volunteer members of AA from the Berlin area. AA members are not counselors. We are volunteers who provide information to people seeking the help AA has to offer. We make our best to ensure phone is answered 24 hours daily, but if it happens that we are unable to take your call please leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
